The QEII Jubilee Special School QEII School is a maintained local authority school for pupils aged between 4 – 19 years of age, with severe and profound learning difficulties. Working in such unique surroundings required meticulous logistics planning to ensure there was no disruption to the day-to-day activities of the pupils.
This project involved remodelling and refurbishment of four existing areas. Minor remodelling works were carried out to create a new library and breakout space. The existing changing room was completely remodelled to form new toilet and changing facilities. A new permanent hygiene room was installed with specialist sanitary-ware and a full coverage hoist. A new sensory, immersive space was
created and a trampoline installed with perimeter matting to form a Rebound Therapy Room.
