Working for West Sussex County Council we completed the summer refurbishment works at Sompting Primary School. The works involved the dismantling of the existing modular classroom at St Nicholas and St Mary’s CE Primary School in Shoreham, and it’s relocation and re-assembly at Sompting Village Primary School.

The scope of works included the isolation and disconnection of existing services to the temporary unit at St Nicholas and St Mary’s, and it’s dismantling & removal. Groundworks and drainage at Sompting School were completed in preparation for installation of the temporary double classroom on the hard play area. The classroom unit was then re-assembled on site at Sompting. New M&E service connections were installed from the main school building to include surface water, foul water and ITC. Hard and soft landscaping was carried out creating new walkways and relocation of the existing pond.
